Decorated Can Conveying Overview
This video explains how cans are transported from the Pin Oven to the IC Spray Bank, ensuring a smooth transition between production stages. Proper conveying is essential for maintaining high-speed movement, precise alignment, and consistent processing.
Step-by-Step Conveying Process
1) Pin Stripper Transfers Cans to Air Conveying
After leaving the Pin Oven, cans pass through the Pin Stripper, which removes them from the pin chain. They then transition onto single-file air conveying for controlled movement.
2) Transition from Air Conveying to Mechanical Mass Flow
Once on the air conveyor, cans are transferred to mechanical conveying, where they shift into mass flow.
3) Cans Feed into Single-File Lanes and Change Orientation
As cans approach the IC Spray Bank, they are reorganized into single-file lanes. During this step, they also change orientation to ensure proper alignment for internal coating application.
4) Gravity Track Guides Cans into the IC Spray Infeed
In the final stage, cans enter a gravity-fed track, which guides them into the IC Spray Machine for internal coating application.
