Inside the Autobagger: The Folding Assembly

This video provides an overview of the Folding Assembly in the Autobagger, where filled bags of beverage ends are folded, sealed, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
Folding and Sealing Process

  1. Folding the Bag Openings
    • Filled bags are transferred to the Folding Assembly.
    • The bag openings are folded under the bags, securing the ends inside.
  2. Tucking and Securing the Folded Bags
    • The folded-under openings are tucked and secured, ensuring that the ends remain contained.
  3. Sealing the Bags
    • The bags are pre-treated with glue, providing additional sealing strength.
    • A heat gun assembly activates the glue, sealing the bags shut.
  4. Laser Labeling for Quality Control
    • A laser system marks each bag for quality control tracking, ensuring traceability.
  5. Final Transfer and Exit
    • The sealed and labeled bags are placed on layer table shuttles.
    • The bags exit the Second Frame Assembly, completing the Autobagger process.
