Inside the Autobagger: The Palletizer

This video explains the final stage of the Autobagger system — the Palletizer, which organizes sealed bags of ends onto pallets for secure storage and shipment.

Bag Stacking and Wrapping Process

  1. Transfer to Palletizer
    • A robotic arm moves filled and sealed bags from the layer table to the palletizer.
  2. Starting a New Pallet
    • A new pallet is automatically positioned in the palletizer system.
    • A layer of snake wrap is applied at the base of the pallet to help stabilize the load.
  3. Building the Pallet
    • The palletizer adds layers of bags, with snake wrap placed between each layer.
    • This layered wrapping ensures the stack remains secure and stable during handling.
  4. Finalizing the Pallet
    • Once the pallet is full, a paper cutter cuts the snake wrap.
    • The completed pallet is then conveyed out of the palletizer for downstream handling or shipment.
