Inside the Autobagger: The Palletizer
This video explains the final stage of the Autobagger system — the Palletizer, which organizes sealed bags of ends onto pallets for secure storage and shipment.
Bag Stacking and Wrapping Process
- Transfer to Palletizer
- A robotic arm moves filled and sealed bags from the layer table to the palletizer.
- Starting a New Pallet
- A new pallet is automatically positioned in the palletizer system.
- A layer of snake wrap is applied at the base of the pallet to help stabilize the load.
- Building the Pallet
- The palletizer adds layers of bags, with snake wrap placed between each layer.
- This layered wrapping ensures the stack remains secure and stable during handling.
- Finalizing the Pallet
- Once the pallet is full, a paper cutter cuts the snake wrap.
- The completed pallet is then conveyed out of the palletizer for downstream handling or shipment.
