Inside the Autobagger: The Second Frame Assembly

This video highlights the Second Frame Assembly of the Autobagger, which handles the preparation and filling of bags with beverage ends. The system ensures each bag is correctly positioned, opened, filled, and transferred for final sealing or folding.

Bag Handling and Loading Process

  1. Bag Hopper to Bag Horns
    • Empty bags are fed from the bag hopper to the bag horns, ready to receive sticks of ends.
  2. Bag Opening and Clamping
    • Lower vacuum cup assemblies grip and spread the open end of each bag.
    • The bag horns then enter the bag, and bag clamps secure it in place.
  3. Stick Insertion and Bag Sealing
    • Once clamped, the bags are released, and the bag loader pushes the sticks of ends into the bags.
    • The open end of the bag is pinched shut, ensuring no ends slide out during transfer.
  4. Bag Transfer to Folding Section
    • The pivoting bag tray assembly moves the filled bags to the folding section, preparing them for final packaging.
