Vacuum Conveying Overview
This video highlights the role of Vacuum Conveying in can plants, where controlled vacuum pressure is used to transport cups and cans efficiently between different levels and machines.
Key Applications of Vacuum Conveying
1) Vacuum Elevators Move Cups and Cans to the Upper Level
Vacuum elevators lift cups and cans to the upper level of the plant, allowing them to be transported efficiently to the next machine in the production process.
2) Feeding Machines from the Upper Level
Once on the upper level, cans or cups are directed into the next processing stage, ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted production flow.
3) Vacuum Lowerators Move Cans Down to the Lower Level
Vacuum lowerators transport cans from the upper level back down to the lower level, commonly used for feeding cans into Washers.
4) Removing Cans from the Pin Chain
After curing in the Pin Oven, vacuum conveying helps strip cans off the Pin Chain, preparing them for further processing.
5) Removing Tipped Cans After the Washer
Vacuum systems assist in removing tipped cans after the Washer, preventing jams and ensuring that only properly oriented cans move forward in the production line.
