Waste Water Treatment Overview

This video explains the Waste Water Treatment process used in can plants to clean and treat water from the Washer. Proper treatment ensures that contaminants are removed, maintaining environmental compliance and efficient plant operation.

Why is Waste Water Treatment Needed?

During production, the Washer removes lubrication, coolant, and aluminum fines from dirty cans before they proceed to the next stage. This process generates contaminated water, which must be treated before disposal or reuse.

Waste Water Treatment Process

1) Dirty Water is Sent to a Holding Tank
Water from the Washer is collected in a holding tank, where it is prepared for treatment.

2) pH Adjustment and Contaminant Removal
The treatment process adjusts the pH and removes contaminants such as oils, chemicals, and fine aluminum particles.

3) Solid Waste Removal
Contaminants are pressed and removed as solid waste, separating them from the clean water.

4) Different Waste Water Treatment Systems
Can plants may use different treatment technologies, but the goal is always the same: to produce clean water that meets environmental and operational standards.
