VTRAC is intelligent-machine software that identifies where in the manufacturing process a specific defect is being caused, eliminating guesswork during troubleshooting. Equipped with VTRAC, the Genius system correlates each product feature to the upstream machine performing the job. When a feature falls outside acceptable parameters, Genius immediately pinpoints the bodymaker, necker pocket, or spray gun responsible for the defect. Alarm outputs can be configured to alert personnel through various methods, including discrete I/O and plant PLC systems. VTRAC data can also be transmitted using OPC or UDP protocols to meet plant-specific requirements.

Unlike conventional process feedback systems that merely monitor, count, and report, VTRAC pinpoints defect sources in real-time, allowing Genius to function as an integral part of the manufacturing process.
