GENIUS: Mixed Label Inspection

Mixed Label Inspection is part of the comprehensive In-line inspection system, designed to ensure the quality of beverage cans by performing a complete inspection of the container, including the inside can, body, neck, and flange. In addition to inspecting for mixed labels, it can detect defects in converted ends, coating voids, wrinkles, creases, puckers, scratches, and dents.

The Genius system extends its inspection capabilities to include converted ends, EOE (Easy Open Ends), lined and unlined shells, public ends, and product interiors. It identifies a wide range of issues, such as curl defects, tab alignment, chuck wall integrity, rivet cracks, liner correlation, dimples, partial scores, compound issues, dents and scratches, embossing integrity, diameter measurements, foreign objects, compound splashes, and scrap in dies, ensuring only quality cans pass through the production line.
