The INTELLISPEC platform offers a comprehensive suite of inspection solutions tailored for high-performance aluminum or steel can production lines. Inspection modules are strategically placed across multiple locations based on production line layout and equipment, including necker/flanger, light testers, and conveyance systems. Dual reject stations enable defect sorting capability, while sensors allow defects to be traced back to specific equipment components, such as Bodymaker ID and Spray Dot. Pressco's advanced Draw Mark Filtering algorithm accurately distinguishes between legitimate defects and harmless draw marks, reducing the rejection of good cans. Additionally, we use UV illumination to detect the presence or absence of rim coating, ensuring that only quality cans move forward in production.
