Toyobo MC Corporation Launches Enhanced QMJT Printight Plate for Metal Decoration Exclusively Distributed in North America by Anderson & Vreeland, Inc.

Toyobo MC Corporation, a global pioneer in water-wash photopolymer printing technology, proudly introduces the next-generation QMJT Printight® plate - engineered specifically for metal-decoration applications. This advanced CTP (computer-to-plate) solution is now available exclusively in North America through Anderson & Vreeland, Inc.

Unlike other plates, Printight® is manufactured with less nylon. This unique formulation enhances washout speed, resolution, and durability—ensuring performance that printers can rely on job after job.

An Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. customer who made the switch to Printight stated, “We’ve been using the Printight® QM83JT plate in several of our production plants with strong success. The plate has delivered consistent, high-resolution print quality and proven durability—one plate achieved up to 3 million impressions after being cleaned and stored twice. The Printight® plate has become a reliable solution in our operations”.

Key Features & Benefits of QMJT Printight®:

Press Durability & Long Runs
  • Engineered for extended press life, reducing downtime and plate changeovers.
  • The JT type is specifically developed for high-resolution imaging combined with superior long-run durability.
  • Superb quality with unmatched economy on press.

Superior Resolution
  • Achieves 100–133 LPI with ease, more precise screen dots and letterforms for high-definition results, holding 2–3% isolated dots.
  • The new JT formula pushes even further, reliably holding 120 LPI down to a 1% dot.
  • Delivers sharp, repeatable quality time after time even with multi-color printing (4, 6, or 8 colors).

Superior Ink Release
  • Flat-top dot structure ensures ink stays on the surface—reducing dot gain and dot tipping.
  • Stable dot shape withstands press pressure, resulting in longer runs without degradation.
  • Efficient ink transfer minimizes consumption, lowering operating costs while maintaining consistent quality.

Printight® CTP QMJT is a steel-backed plate with built-in flat dots for CTP processing, and a 55 Shore D hardness. This plate is designed for rotary labels, metal deco, embossing and other applications with a screen range up to 200lpi (1 – 95%). Minimum fine line is 30 micron and minimum isolated dot is 200 micron.

Since its introduction to the industry, Anderson & Vreeland has partnered with major can producers throughout the United States, making Printight® a worthy contender in the North American market. For platemakers looking to try out the latest technology from Toyobo, Anderson & Vreeland has a specialized polymer team that can advise you on the best polymer plate choice for your operation.
